Two-shot over/under derringer pattern pistol with safety catch to left frame and hand operated extractors. Manufacturer marking to the right frame reads EM-GE Mod. 5 followed by PATENT. Caliber mark on left frame reads Cal. 320. Better known for their air guns, the German firm of EM-GE (Moritz & Gerstenberger) manufactured the Model 5 pistol as a blank, gas cartridge, and flare pistol intended for self defense.
